back at it..
« on: September 17, 2012, 01:51:18 pm »
I haven't been posting much lately. Just had a bunch of stuff going and couldn't find time to make much, other than huntin points.

This last weekend I did get a few knocked out. Enjoy!

Those are some exceptional points.  That's some fine knapping.

Man, that first bunch look like you punched em out with some kind of industrial cookie cutter??  I'd love to be able to do that.  Also love the lighting on that one knife blade, stunning picture.

Thanks guys! I have to admit I took a page out of Billy's book with the lighting trick. It was such a pretty rock (no idea what it is?!?) I really wanted to showcase it.

The huntin points are headed to TD for the horn trade (sorry George  :-\ ::) ???)

Thanks for the compliments, I still like learnin from you all!

No sweat Scott. Dave would've been waiting until 2013 for that many from me. I need to do a couple more for my own arrows.

As a rule, "no." I have worked 1 maybe 2 slabs and decided I don't like them. The multi colored blade is a reworked point that I couldn't stand to throw away after it broke.
