Now that is a bow I would love to shoot. Amazed at the draw you got out of the oak without it chrysaling! The master at work! Awesome bend.

Old man, I have 4 finished red oak bows and 3 more in
various stages of being built but none look as good as
yours.....wonder why? Oh yeah, I remember now, its
because YOU ARE THE MAN ;) :) ;D

I always wondered what a real bowyer could do with
ro. You answered that question.

Here's what I did for finish on this old girl.....green painted 6" tips with Mink tail wraps and the center 12" of the back I cut out a tiberrattler from a piece of the one that Howard sent me, painted in the eyes and rattle......hope ya like it

Put a couple 100 arrows through it and she shoots real good (thats why I decorated) the bow shoots really flat out to 15+ yards so I'm real happy......forgot to weigh it again after all the shootin.....but will get that up here shortly.

Nice finish work, Rich! Cool way to skin it, too!! 8)

That is a fine example of what an artist can achieve. You see a bow in a stick of wood and coax it into existence . Us mortals see the same stick and think- how the heck does he do that ?
Your alright for a Meechagan guy ;)
