Finished a bow for a friend and while I was working on it he stopped by all
smiley cause the ultrasound said baby girl. Right then I knew the bow had to
have some pink but when it was done I wasn't sure I liked the finish. Bow
was real good performance wise but....

Carried it over to the local country store to get it critiqued and met a young
lady who happened to be here visiting relatives. Ain't good at providing links
so you might as well google her. It made me feel good to know there are
kids like her around. Worth the trouble. And she liked the bow.

I googled her and got about twenty different hits and possible dates. Who is she?

She won her first turkey calling contest at 5 years old. She has won her division in a
Bassmasters tournament and is the SC lady archer champion. I don't know enough
about competitive archery to give her title the proper name. What is cool though is
that she had to win a tournament to get to the finals but was laid up in a hospital
with a serious staff infection. PSE is her main sponsor and they paid for a RN to be with
her because she was gonna shoot no matter what. She shot 12's all day then went
back to the hospital.

Fox picked her up for a new hunting show called "Southern Girls Got Game". With her
looks and attitude I believe she will go far. She was already bitching about having
to shoot for the camera and she said her biggest goal was to kill a deer with
equipment she made herself. Just not your typical 13 year old girl. She seemed to
be the real deal.
