I was thinking bout trying my first glue up. The wood I have most access to in Juniper, but the longer lengths are hard to come by, billets are another matter.
Instead of the classic z splice I was wanting to try a riser of sorts. I recall seeing an article on the front page a number of years ago... Marc St. Louis, maybe?
Does anyone have that article around?
It would probably answer all my questions.
Anyway, questions are...
What glue (easy) should I use, does it require pins and rough dimensions for riser length, angles would be helpful too.
I dont mind experimenting some, I'll certainly be making my own design.
I'd just like to use proven methods for the "technical stuff".
