Pretty Problems

I knocked this spall off a larger pc an started to make a point, problems started showing up  :( ??? :-\, cracks , soft pockets,and pretty stripes an color, some how I kept this one togeather, lucky an finally talked myself into slowing down an look at things before just whacking it, BOB SLOW DOWN :o :o :o  Thought about some notchs but decided agaist them with all the hard and soft spots, maybe someday later. Thanks for lookin. Bob

That's a rough lookin' rock but you got a nice point out of it. Slow down,take a break and then think abvout it for awhile,that's why I don't get much done 8)

That's a nice one, Bob. I've started making myself slow down and I can see the difference. I've got to the point if I start having problems and don't really feel like dealing with it I put it in the problem pile. I'll go back to the problem pile when I feel like slowing down and learning how to solve something new instead of just beating on it till it breaks.

I've found usually it's a matter of just setting up a real good platform and grinding the right angle.

FLINTKNAPPING IS EASY...I WAS ALWAYS TOLD I COULD BREAK AN ANVIL WITH A POWDER PUFF.
