I got really into girls and beer in college, mostly into beer. Let my grades drop, got reclassified 1A by the draft board and ended up in the Army(1967) as well as having a pregnant girlfriend.

My advise, go light on the beer and girls.

I'm in the same boat. It's a lot harder to do projects in college. I'm sure no one would care if you flint knapped in your dorm though, at least as long as you don't draw to much attention to it. I'm gettin ready to finish making an Australian style Stock whip in my dorm and nobody here seems to care. Of course most of my time has been in school work  ::) but I guess that's college huh?

Sex kills.

Attend South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and live forever!

I'm a mile from the campus of SDSMT and you can use my shop.   >:D
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

right now that sounds really tempting, but i am starting to like this school.......especially the machinery i have access to ... i can finally build my own fishing reel from scratch, possibly some machined bodkins, maybe i can even start a bow building club..... but one thing i saw on my way to my first class today was a little tempting... there's about 20 something wild turkeys that are always wandering campus and i was able to get  less than 5yds from them , i wonder, can i cook a turkey in a dorm room microwave >:D >:D

I would say work and study your ass off! This will set you up to have more time for play later.
