So about an hour ago I went outside to do a late night glue up, because i figured i could let the glue set overnight and start working again tomorrow. I keep all my staves and tools under my house in an unfinished cellar next to my back deck so i can reach in, grab what a need, and get to work back outside.
I've never gone out after dark to work on my bows, so i just grabbed a little flashlight and took it down with me.
the weird thing was, when i reached into the cellar to grab a bow, i put my hand on what felt like a tiny slimy ball. I reeled back out of shock and started waving my flashlight around to see what it was, and there must have been upward of 50 slugs on that bow alone. i start looking around, and they're on EVERY piece of wood i own. Never seen anything like it. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
i live in eastern GA, just to.give a point of reference.
