another short plains bow

Heres a 42 inch plains style horse bow. draws 40@18 inches.  has a setback handle. The bow is a selfbow and has some sinew wraps just for aesthetics. The wood is a decrowned small diameter osage orange stave. the widest part was a little over 1.25 inches.

Nice, I like it!! Gotta love them shorties. I haven't been able to be accurate shootin that short of a draw length though. I've tried a few shorties with around 20" draw, and can't hit the side my garage with them. More practice is in order I guess. I would love to hunt from a horse someday.

I cant get another picture because its in different hands now. most was heartwood, a very thin area along the sides wassapwood on the back.
