@ Tracy - I work so often and my honey do list never gets any shorter - so no gathering trips in my future. I have Obsidan from the Warner Mtns of Northern California, Glass Buttes Oregon, Mono Lake Basin California, We have some at Mt Konocti and Mt St Helena. I am not too picky - remember if it is up to 70 lbs and it fits - it ships - got to love the USPS! There are other knappers who know of my dilemma and they take pity on me and bring me material when they come to visit.
