Found a bow on my porch
« on: August 22, 2012, 09:05:29 pm »
I woke up this afternoon and went out to put some tires on my car before I had to leave for work.  I walked across the front yard to get the mail and I noticed a long package on my front porch.  I wasn't expecting anything so it was quite a suprise.  I checked the address on it and new it was from my favorite steelers fan, Blackhawk.

I forgot about my tires and started opening this thing up.  As soon as I saw the limb tip, I knew what it was.

My Dad stopped by so I had him take a full draw picture.  Unfortunately I didn't have time to shoot it.  I had to get the wheels back on my car so I could leave for work.  I love this bow and I can't wait to shoot it tomorrow.

Thanks so much for it Chris.  I really owe you one now buddy  ;)   Are the tip overlays from what I sent you?  I had a feeling you were up to something.  This was a nice suprise.  I was expecting something wrapped in a terrible towel  ;D
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Man, gotta admit that bow has a beautiful profile. That is a very nice bow.
"The way of heaven is like the bending of a bow-
the upper part is pressed down,
the lower part is raised up,
the part that has too much is reduced,
the part that has too little is increased."

You lucky dog!!

That cat of yours shows up in photos posted online almost as much as Kim Kardashian!

Nice bow, couldn't have happened to a better guy.

Great looking bow, blackhawk and lucky you, Clint.

Hey Clint, do you take your tires off every night when you aren't working? ???

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

JW - That cat won't leave my side.  It was all I could do to shoot a few arrows the other night.  He kept trying to attack the target.  Expect to see him in the background of most of my pictures from now on.

Mullet - I had a couple of tires replaced because of nails and cuts.  The one leaked so bad I couldn't drive it to the shop, I had to drop them off to get fixed.

Blackhawk - Thanks again.  I sure feel lucky to get this bow.
