"The way of heaven is like the bending of a bow-
the upper part is pressed down,
the lower part is raised up,
the part that has too much is reduced,
the part that has too little is increased."

I love it!  Odonates attack!
"The bow is the old first lyre,
the mono chord, the initial rune of fine art
The humanities grew out from archery as a flower from a seed
No sooner did the soft, sweet note of the bow-string charm the ear of genius than music was born, and from music came poetry and painting and..." Maurice Thompso

I need to fletch up some more arrows!  What grain/type of broadhead do you suggest?

HaHa!  Biggest laugh I've had all week!  Love the video.  My vote for the bravest goes to the dragonfly which did not move while five, yes FIVE arrows flew past him (her?).  Another great video, Billy.  ;D

Cool! Looks like great fun!!
Aim small - miss small eh? It's surprising when you are going for small targets how it helps you to focus.
I think he was using blunts not broadheads. Cut yourself a square of something tough like hickory 3/4 x 3/4 ,drill an arrow shaft sized hole. Glue it onto a shaft then take the corners off. Quick ,easy and effective!

Thanks Scott!  And I'm glad you guys got a laugh from it.  I figured it would be a nice little escape from all the BS we all have to deal with everyday.

I was thinking about doing another video, called Hunting Justin Beiber with a Primitive Bow.  I can't stand these pre-pubescent little boys and the lame music they sing (but of course don't write).  I'd be going thru the woods with my bow, looking for Justin.  MAybe I'd see some other characters like Elmo, or some Barbie dolls along the way, and I'd shoot their heads off with my cane arrows.  Then I'd finally find Justin (in reality would be a Justin Beiber doll) and I'd fill him full of arrows and save the world from  another lame singer who doesn't even know what....well.....I'll just keep it clean and say he doesn't know what a man's supposed to do!    ;D  ;D  ;D

I was talking about it with my girlfriend and she got all mad at me and said that if I made that video and posted it on youtube then she'd dump me.  I told her to sit on a Gunther Barbed point and rotate!!!  LOL!  So...what do ya think?  Should I make a video like that?

That was pretty awesome Billy! (funny too). Keep em coming.
Beiber isn't worthy of an arrow, imho.
I've hated him ever since he said the USA is evil (as if he could have made any money selling "records" somewhere else).
