What a series of events, Randman! Sorry about the health issues and hope you are doing better. You have certainly been making an effort to do right by your guy, IMHO. The final product looks really good. I'm sure your recipient will love it.

Thanks for the encouragement everone.

Time for more pics. Got her up to first brace, exercised her a bit. This thing has a real odd shape that gets prettier every time I look at it. After analyzing the pics, I decided not to do a thing to the tiller. It has an odd asymmetry that only looks good one direction. Flip it over and it doesn't look so good but right way up and she's real nice.
I think I've got the bend just about right for a wiggly stave. What do you all think?

Here's what she looks like in the hand. I'm pulling it left handed so I'm a little weak that way but that is the way it looks the best. That's about 24" draw there and it's pulling 45@25. And Boy! does it slam an arrow. Goes all the way through my target and into the wall behind in my 10yd indoor range. The belly toast only looks black it's really a chocolate brown. Time to shoot  bunch of arrows through it and get a finish and handle wrap on it.

For the unusual unbraced shape of this bow I'd say the tiller looks pretty good. The make-up surely does!  8) Nice bow randman and a great effort.    ;)
