i am tierd of using the tillering string and want to make a pillar tillering jig.i did some research on the how to section and came up short.if anyone using this method has any pics of info on building one,it would be very appreciated.thanks guys,Steve

thanks Brock.i might build one like Kerrys but made of wood.i am not great at welding.i am tring to get some ideas before i jump right in.thanks again buddy

One warning about no string tillering. You cant see potential twist and a few other alignment issues. The stave better be quite straight. I still like a string to tiller.
Steve you can always try what I use at times. The bow doesnt need to be braced, but a tighter string helps. Vice the center up and place 1 x 1's of various lengths in to check tiller and aligment.

thanks Chris and Bubby.Chris i have a standup tillering tree that is eye level.i just hate putting on the tillering string everytime i make a small change.
