6 for trade
« on: August 10, 2012, 10:06:00 pm »
I was able to interest a guy in a trade for some of my points and he wanted them all obsidian. It has been awhile since I hit any of that shiny stuff and I had to relearn on the first few. All told I only broke 5 or 6 before finishing the set. They are all between 145 and 150 grn.

Funny thing is my buddy came over this morning and he was looking at the blade. I said "now careful this is sharp," thinkin I would forewarn him a little. He picked it up and promptly cut his thumb a nice little slice and said "ouch!!" I just started laughin. He shoulda known better but that obsidian is just scary sharp!

Those are nice. I'd try hard to find a trade for 6 of those.
I found many years ago that it is much easier and more rewarding working with those that don't know anything than those that know it all.
