Looking for ideas for pig arras any advice would be loved

HEy Mitch,

I would suggest shooting heavy arrows...around 600 grains would do well.

yep heavy arrows high foc broadheads with single bevel and tanto tip like the grizzlys or tuskers
PRIMITIVE ARCHERY what other way can you play with sticks and rocks all day and not look like a little kid

Billy: Thanx for the reply and I love your articles in PA magizine, I also enjoyed the Icaveman Specail on curiosity. I dont have a scale in grains is there a conversion from ounces?

Killerduck: Could you post pictures of the broadheads your talking about? I was hoping to get after some pigs with stone.

Went through and weighed all my cain arrows and they are all just shy of an oz???  ???

1 oz = 437.5 gr.  Your probably a bit light.  Josh

I used patb's method of two fletch. During the bare shaft test i was consistently hitting a pinecone at 5 yards. Opinions welcome :D

That foreshaft looks awfully small in diameter and you need to wrap more behind the point. I usually wrap at least an inch and a half of sinew behind the point.

Ok i will wrap more behind the point. I shot it into a tree and the foreshaft held up fine

i got one Cain arrow that come out to to 875gr with a 125gr broad head on it  and one that come out to about 650gr. with the same broad head . do yall thank 875gr  is to heavy?
