You're right Mike. Not totally realistic, but within the bounds of the experiment it was pretty well played. The question was "could modern man assimilate back to stone age technology?" (or at least that was what I heard.) I think they made several valid points. By having a cross section of people they demonstrated a variety of skills and personalities and in the end the the group was stronger than the idividual. By not having experts on hand they were able to ferret out many of the answers themselves and still show a resilient spirit that proves we could go back if forced to do so. Even the women who were so disgusted by eating red meat were only doing so cause they knew they could quit at any time.
Compared to what we are routinely fed in popular media I think this was great tv. It looked like a great time and I only wish my name would have been in the hat! Great job representing, Billy!
