Here is my trade bow finally! My 3rd go at it, #1 was an explosive end to a decent sinew/yew recurve. I bombed the tiller on #2 and finally a success on #3.
Its from a 3 inch yew sapling with tight rings and multi-brown colored heartwood
61" NTN and 62 1/2 TTT
unbacked, ironwood tip overlays, brown serving material wrapped handle and brown leather floppy rest.
its a bendy handle type, with no bend at all in the last 5-6 inches of each limb.
My guy was lacking in specifics for his bow so i didnt think it too bad to show the drawweight/length......plus i am a month late :S
I gotta say, i love the bending properties of yew, but i dont especially like how soft it is.
