Cherry barked backed vine maple kids bow

Ok, so this post is not so much about the little bow i turned out the night before last christmas, but more just a reason to show off some pics of my son shooting his bow. He is only two years and some change old, but he shoots his bow better than I ever have. Lately he has taking a liking to my blunt tipped flu-flus, after we broke all of his sucker shoot arrow shafts. It is funny, he can't shoot the man-sized arrows a quarter of the distance he shot his shoot shafts, but he really enjoys shooting the "big arras" I have another VM bow in the works for him...see how he likes a recurve.

Those are some great pics!!! Hang onto those. I love the fact that the arrows look taller than him. I have more fun making kid bows than the big ones, just to see pics like that.

That's a fine lookin boy! It reminds me when my 3 sons were small and all shooting together! Enjoy him while he's little. He'll be grown and gone before you know it!!

All those pics are great, but that first one is my favorite. The angle of the photo is perfect and the intenisty in his gaze is a textbook example of "becoming the arrow". The object he's concentrating on has already been hit, and he knows it. Very cool!
