Yep, cheap yew....or at least close. I think I would compare it more to eastern red cedar, which is another wood I really like! I will post a eastern red cedar bow soon!

Nice bow.  I really like the color / contrast with the skins, wood and handle.    That's a work of art man.   Awesome!

That is a nice bow Brian.  Beautiful bends. Cheap yew, eh...that is funny because the bark of both woods are medicinal, one cures cancer, the other cures constipation!
