Hackberry tiller

HI i am making a hackberry self bow and am still new to tillering i have only tillered one other bow a red oak board and it broke so i just would like to get your opinions on the tiller at 15" it is 62" ntn ans 2 inches wide tapered to 1.5 midlimb then 1/2" tips. I also plan on heat treating it later today.

    The left limb looks a bit stiff midlimb. The inner third looks like it's hinged a bit, but will probably be OK when you get the midlimb working a bit. The tiller may change on you when you heat treat it, but in my experience, not much.

I don't really see what would constitute a hinge, but definitely work the midlimb down some. tiller should look fine after that.

The anchor point from your scale hook is a little off to the left limb side. If that (the left) is your top limb then that's ok. Changing your anchor position will make things look different sometimes.
