I would have guessed a trapezoidal, flat-bellied cross section is in demand here.
The one I just made has an ELBish cross section, sightly trapped, 70" ntn 50#@29.5" It has an inch of set after a bit of heat treating, and it seems to be willing to stay that way. It projects even heavier arrows nicely, to say the least.
It'll be a bit before I can start with this, and I'll then post the outcome in a new threat. I'll get back to you via PM if I have more question about Ash.
