Thank You Bow
« on: July 17, 2012, 06:52:36 pm »
I just realized I never posted this bow  :-[
Almost 2yrs ago my boss at that time saw one of my Osage selfbows and told me I could come out to his ranch and cut some Osage!!
So after cutting, splitting, sealing, and seasoning I picked a stave and made this bow to thank him and to try and get him away from his wheelie bow  >:D

That's a really nice bow, nice tiller and I dig the handle wrap.  Reminds me of a Timo handle wrap.

That is a good looking bow!  How long is it?  I bet it shoots good.  If that didn't get him off the training wheels, I don't know what would. :)

That one is 62" ntn, I liked the way it shot so much he almost didn't get it.
I gave it to him at Cabela's in the archery range, (10yds) his first 4 arrows went into a fist sized group. He was thrilled

Niiiiiiiiiiice!

If that dont get him weened of the wheels then nothing will.(dont give up trying regardless).  very nice payback.

Nice tiller! Bet he was pleased. Nothing wrong with a wheeley bow though!!
