My Boy Trying To Make Him A Point
« on: July 15, 2012, 11:44:34 pm »
This is my boy working on a peice of flint whil we were fishing.  I made him put his glasses back on after the pic.. He is using brass round bar that we had for driving bolts out with.. He really enjoys knapping.. Thanks for looking.

What's not to like...using Dad's tools, breaking things...  Very cool picture.  Wish I'd started at that age.

Love that! My little girl likes to do the same think. My wife just rolls her eyes when I show her the points.

All excited about breaking off a little micro blade
Or something that looks like a point. We have a collection
Of his points right next to mine in the display cabnet

Start-em young & in a few years he will be teaching you new tricks. Everytime I find a crude or poorly  made point I think of a young kid learning to knap.
He who sacrifices freedom for a security deserves neither one.  Benjamin Franklin!
