I have an old (1961) Gilman Keasey selfbow. It is definitely a string follow bow. Am I mistaken or wasn't that an intentional design back in the day?
The bow is the definition of a perfect bow IMO. After owning and shooting literally hundreds of bows over the years this one rates at the top of the scale as far as accuracy and is shear joy to shoot. Absolutely no handshock and fits like a glove.
If I were try to copy a design from any bow this would be my choice. Not the fastest but the most pleasurable bow I've ever handled.
