What is this rock? Found in northeast OK.
Haven't posted lately but still been banging away at some rock. I introduced a 4th grader to flintknapping this summer by making a VERY crude arrowhead at our kids camp this year just by using a small round rock. (I think the Lord was moving that day with my abo skills). The young man thanked me by packing a bunch of spells in my bag without me knowing about it until I got home. No wonder my bag was heavy.

I don't know what it is either, but whatever it is, I would try to find more of it. Look at the flakes on the second picture. Whatever it is, it sure looks like it will knap.
