A BIG THANKS TO ALL THAT ARE PRAYING FOR THE FOLKS IN OHIO

The storm last Fri, just about did us in !
No electricity to most of the area
houndreds of thousands with out power even today still
countless trees and barns down !
We were able to get most of the critical infrastructure back on line yesterday the hospital,courthouse and a couple of gas stations
 we had been going 40 -50 mile to get gas and ice !
 
It is amazing what 20 minutes of 100 mile an hour wind will do and then throw in some hale and it shreds every thing in its path!
I am in Indiana today and not really looking forward to going back into that mess at home tonight ,but we will do what we have to and am convinced more than ever we have some of the best folks in the world living in our area ,Praise God for all of them !
And for all of you that are praying for us !

Hope everything gets back to normal for you guys. That's most every Hurricane season for us. The last good ones were in 2004 here. We had 4 back to back within two weeks. Nothing like 120-140mph winds for 8 hours to wake you up. Last week during the little Tropical storm we had 8 tornados come through here from it. One completely wiped out one of my friends house.

Is it over 100 degrees during your hurricanes !
We are not used to this type of heat up here and just not able to cope with it so well !
The generaters at the hospital could not handle the heat !
I guess I must be getting old storms just don't hold any fun anymore !

The temps usually never drop below 80 in the summer here, storm or no storm. My airconditioner runs pretty much 24/7 at least 330 days out of the year.

I am headed back into what looks like a war zone
See ya all when I come out again maybe thurs-fri.
Hopefully the next time I come out I wil remember my trade bow so I can get it in the mail!! Its backed and ready but no P O to take it to inside the zone !!

i'm praying for ya guy.it hit us pretty hard down here in southern ohio.sounds like you northern guys got it a little worse than we did.hope everything gets to normal soon.

It is interesting in our state Mullet! We had Erin,Opal back to back,,,,IVAN and Dennis back to back,,,Glad our northern freinds are ok.

Several years back when we lived in the country our water froze for a few days. It's hard to live with out water and electricity and the comforts that we enjoy. Praying for y'all.

Prayers are being answered !
We were invaded last night by power crews from that state up north, and who knows who all, even trucks from Missouri !!!
What an awesome sight  !!!!
lights are popping up  all over the land !
It is a good day to be a citizen of the USA !
Where folks are glad to help out one  another  !!
sure wish I could post some pics for y'all !

Good news,glad things are getting better, it is a great country,we have our differences but when bad things happen seems we all come together,if only for a little while. :) :) Good luck and keep us updated. :)

We were without power only 6 hours (45 miles southeast of Cincinnati) but lost part of a river birch in front. I yanked the 3 twisted limbs down with my truck, sawed them up & hauled the brush off. River Birch is just a little tougher than cardboard I think.

Lots of fireworks last night and not all the good kind
I am afraid the boys are getting worn down to much to stay safe ,In the rush to get folks power, things are being turned on that maybe should not be lots of wires still down with sparks a flying now !
We have a ways to go yet !!
I do not like to see my grandkids playing under broken poles  and flying sparks  we may have to get them out of the area for awhile !
Please do pray for the folks that are trying so hard to help !
