bendy handle osage
« on: June 29, 2012, 11:00:06 am »
Here is my first bendy handle bow. Its from a belly split off of a nice osage stave with a rat snake backing, both from Cipriano (Thanks!) with pronghorn tip overlays (also first time doing overlays). Built up the handle a bit with some leather and a leather handle wrap. Finished off with tru oil.

Beautiful job there Uncle Duck, the color of those skins are striking , unbraced profile, tiller, tips and finish are all outstanding. That is a really well done bow in my opinion, love it.
