Not sure where to post this, but....does anyone know if the rosin used on bull ropes (bull riding) is the same as raw pine resin? I know that bull rope rosin is really of sticky!!

I don't know for sure but I imagine the bull rope rosin would have something else mixed in.

hedge back when i was riding bulls we got rosin at the music shop, came in a cube, used to be cheap give it a shot, Bub

Thanks guys. I hate to pay for something I can collect on my own, but at the present time I just don't have the opportunity to get out and look for it. Might be able to come up with some trade material. Will post it in the appropriate place.

Raw pine rosin is NOT the same as the rosin used for violins or other stringed instruments. Violin rosin is heated, purified and has proprietary ingredients added to it.
