I was wondering if there are any Boyer's in the Tarrant or Dallas county areas of North Texas. I am a 62 year old with no experience with wood to speak of. I have a dream however, of creating a summer archery class with a difference for kid of about 10-14 years old.
The idea would be, (1) A kid makes bow from a stave, then (2) Shoots his own bow. (I know that this has been done before, but I have never attempted it.)
I would like to learn the art so I can pass it on to students.
