A new young bow maker

My grandson loves to copy me. I gave him a play draw knife and a mule with some yellow wood and he went right at it. Funny as heck. I built the mule to 1/2 scale.

I wish you were my Grandpa!
Cute kid and apparently takes after Grandpa. The shave horse is way cool too.

Badge, that is waaaay too cool. There's a Wee-Wicki coming soon that I'll have to do that with. Did you happen to record your measurements?

That's awesome. All he is missing is a little temporary badger tattoo on his arm
With you as a teacher, he will be making real bows in just a few years

Nice work Steve! The odds of him ever "pullin the trigger" on a bow are now slim to none. Thats a cute pic.

Thanks guys, I am a bit proud of my little man. Matt. I have plans for full size mule. I just built it exactly 1/2 scale. Next one I won't do so complicated, it took me about 4 hours to build it.
