ABO blade learning curve

Started out real nice and after matching side flake i messed it up. Well I ended with a nice blade but it was a hard won battle. The problem was the delta were stepping because this Keokuk is weak stuff. So I set it up again more carefully pushed the deltas off.

Yes i did too. Phil churchill kinda expland it to me. He said to create an isolated platform across from each other and they would create that pattern.

Now that you've worked that piece I will say Good Job! The reason I dont like the stuff is because I can never get it as thin as I want. Steps and hinges are terrible. You did well!

Scott, I agree. I got a big box of ht treat keoekuk last fall and after a few pieces, realized I was hinging and stepping more than usual as well. Flakes seem to want to dive more readily if that makes since.

Great lookin blade John! I like me some keokuk. Have a small pile of it here from the pit but can't cook it hot enough in the ground. Cooked, i love the way it works though..
