A little something I been working on
« on: May 29, 2012, 12:00:56 am »
Over a year and a half ago I watched a friend make a point from a beautiful piece of flint ridge material.  He let me pick through all the "debitage" from that point gave the flakes to me.  The plan was to see if I could flatten each flake and get a point of any kind from it. I wish I'd taken pictures of what I started with :-[  I'll just say that each piece was challenging
I'm very happy with the results. They may be small, but I have more time in these than if I'd made bigger ones.

What are people supposed to say when they see your work?  Wow is about all I can muster.  In my favorite material as well...I think I might be crushing on these points :D

You skin that smoke wagon and we'll see what happens!---Are you gonna do something? Or just stand there and bleed?
