Great spalling videos. Only to have the access to rock that you do. Living in Michigan we have a lot of beach sand and no knapping rock.

Very good vid. This is just what a new flint knapper needs to know. The techique used to reduce is continued for the most part till the point is done

Yes, this reduction technique is pretty much the same all the way through the process of making the point or tool.

I have been learning slowing and thank you for the time you put in to make this video. I need a few days in a pit filled like that! I live in northern Illinois and need to start researching and finding local rock.
