stingray barbs or fishskin for trade
« on: May 25, 2012, 09:23:53 pm »
Just putting it out there. I guide here in florida and have access to different fish skins and some stingray barbs or skins. I could ship the skins frozen and partially trimmed and thinned. I'm looking for obsidian or staves or any other knappable rock . Going to be busy for the next two months but i could save skins and try to get them out .

Hello Rodeoj,

If you are still looking for someone interested in skins and barbs, I'd be interested.

Interested in Stingray skins and barbs and Shark skins.
With out some kind of preservative I'm not sure if you could get most saltwater species skinned and dried while maintaining their color.
I would LOVE to figure a way to get a Dolphin (Mahi) skin on a bow with even Some of the color they have in the water.

What would you be looking for in trade?
