a simple d bow
« on: May 21, 2012, 03:47:07 pm »
my wife has a back problem that has really dropped her draw weight, we've got a rendevous in a few week's that has a 3d course she likes to shoot so i made her this light weight bow real fast, it's hickory, about 23# @ 25", 65" long, i built the grip up with leather, the drawings are 'cause she likes turtles, i put the beads on to dress it up for her, for the light weight it shoot's fine for a 3d course and it's a bow she can shoot all day, Bub

I like it, nice and simple :D  Don't think my wife would ever do a 3-d shoot with me, the most i've had her out shooting is about 20 minutes!

Bubby, she ought to like shooting that one. It looks like it should be real smooth. I like simple.
