First bow from scratch

Well here she is "golden Beauty" my first bow from scratch (hickory board).  She is 68" NTN in a pyramid style, with a arrow rest of layered leather and a brace hieght of 5 3/4" pulls 54#@28".

shoots pretty good just a little hand shock but seems to be fast.

Nice first bow.You did good. Try a heavier arrow and I'll bet your little hand shock issue will all but disappear. God Bless

Rich just take your time and when you start feeling frustrated that it isn't going fast enough STOP and do something else.  :)

I always wanted to make a bow from scratch, but scratch just don't grow in this climate.   >:D

Decent tiller and I bet it just spits the arrows!
