Texas Flint for trade ***TRADED***
« on: May 17, 2012, 01:56:15 pm »
Hello Guys,

I have  three pieces of Texas flint for trade.

The dark piece in upper left hand corner was collected in Mason, Tx and I think is either Pedernales or Root Beer...

The two other lighter pieces (upper right and bottom piece) were snagged in Georgetown, Tx - - - Georgetown Flint?

Sorry I'm not able to confidently I.D. this material but it is very good quality as I have made several points and a couple of blades/daggers.

The dark piece is glossy and flakes like a charm.

I can send separately or as a bundle pkg.

I'm looking for any obsidian, flint, jasper, dacite, or other knappable material not native to Texas.

Also looking for anything knapping related: Billets, leather pads, pressure flakers, ishi stick, notchers, etc.

Please send me a PM if interested and as always, Thanks for looking.

Bowmakers are a little bent, but knappers are just plain flaky.
