I wonder why those burly guys in the old timey logger competitions haven't thrown away all their axes and bought kukri's.  It's the Chuck Norris of machetes.   

Oh yeah, something about the right tool for the job.

Sure there are always different ways to do the same job....however man has been cutting/splitting trees for quite a while now and it's pretty well figured out now.

 But that KUKRI will keep you in shape or kill you when it comes to cutting staves.

Hahaha thanks guys for all the replies but actually i just prefer using a saw to down a tree. XP My kukri is very nice for the last bits as it's very lightweight.
But I'll take the advice of you guys so don't worry.
