Well after snapping two in half last week I thought I'd give this another shot.Had this Flint River ( Ga ) spall lookin' like a good canidate so here it is.It is fluted but my superior photogaphy skills has once more left alot to be desired.

This does show alittle pin hole on the base ,kinda cool. The point added alittle color to the collection of clovis'

One cannot have to many ya know,I cut some shafts and I want to haft some of these up

Bonepile,...If they are as sharp as the point you sent me,they will be deadly. I think I may follow the example and do some paleo arrows.  'Frank

Awesome cache there BP.

I've been slow in the pit this month, due mostly to being sceert of the clovis and not having enough big pieces to attempt another.

That's sweet Will!

Here's another from me this month.  I think it's Texas chert?  Pretty hard.  I got a decent flute on one side, but not as long as I wanted and it left the turtle back I wanted to remove.  The other side I had a problem getting the plateform low enough and not taking too much length away.  Anyway, I hope to try another one soon. dp  oh..the pics arn't too good...sorry.
