My new Mortar and Pestle

This my first post, i thought i would post a pic or 2 of my new mortar and pestle. I have lurked around enough and time to join in  :) This one is the second one i have made. The first one i use to grind my charcoal for my BP.

The wood is oak. The color is from charing and wiped down with oil to protect the wood. The stone is well I don't know. Its as hard is flint but don't Knapp I picked it up while I was looking for some jasper found alot of that
