I think the tips are made from blood wood. I had some scrap pieces laying around of some unidentified red/orange wood I thought it was Padauk at first but it is too hard and red to be Padauk.

Beautiful bow Josh, excellent performance as well. Thats world class speed. You need to get locked out more often, thats my favorite style of bow.
