Black locust 40# 29"
« on: April 23, 2012, 08:16:52 am »
This slim bow is inspired a little by Hadza bows. It is light and fast, I will chrony it soon. Maybe I am in love, but I think nothing (except maybe yew and laburnum) can compare with beauty of polished and oiled locust. It is 60" ntn, very short for my taste.
This hole in the middle gives it some nasty look.  >:D

That one looks good, too. You should name it "tiny tips".

simple yet elegant.  your bows have some great lines.  no flashy extras, you harness the beauty of the wood and that is what a bow should be. great job- Ryan

great bow, it has some raw look about it. That will be a wild love affair I guess...
Can you give me the width and debth of it? I'm laying out one of similar design and lenght, and I'm very unsure how wide and thick it should be.
Don't shoot!

Nice bow Druid. The thing that sticks in my mind is how small the tips are. Lord have mercy those are tiny. I am on a quest to get mine smaller and smaller. That took some nerve. Good job.   Danny

Thank you very much friends!  :D
Tattoo, I have never made smaller, but it seems that is strong enogh to hold this and probably more weight.
Jodocus, it is about 25 x 18 mm but I will check one more time.
