Cholla Flint Knife
« on: April 23, 2012, 11:28:41 am »
I made this knife for a benfit event. A true friend of mine passed away a month ago an we had a benfit type archery shoot for his family.  Strange how one door closes an another opens. My friend was 58 when he crossed over, the winner of the knife is 13 an as excited as all get out about all the primitive stuff, sure happy about this young man winning my knife. Oh, kinda fitting my new young friends name is Hunter. Later Bob

Sweet knife Bob!!  And I agree, great the kid got the knife, there is nothing like a sweet knife to spark the thrill in a 13 year old boy. dpg

Great looking piece. I am sure he will treasure it for a lifetime.

What a great way to honor your friend's memory.  I'm sure Hunter is thrilled.  I know I would be with a great knife like that.  Makes steel blades look really plain.
