I have a good supply of some pretty good quality HHB staves and I would be interested in trading a couple nice ones for some Obsidian if anyone is interested.   The ones in question have the bark still on and are straight and clean.  Both are sawn wedges just under 68" long and just over 2" wide.  Here's a picture

P.S. This wood was cut in the Fall of 09

I know from checking out the USPS site that there is a limit on weight, limit of 20# for medium or large box and after that the price of shipping goes up a lot.  I would want at least 15# of rock per stave but it also depends what kind of Obsidian it is.

HHB won't sink in water.  It is a very elastic wood though, pretty well the best wood we have here in the North

I was only going to trade 2 staves but there's been several inquiries so I will bump it up accordingly.  The other staves come from the same tree and are just as nice, same length and width.

               I have dacite, and obsidian. Dacite would be my choice over obsidian if you ever worked it.

75# in the flat rate box, the large ships for about $15 but is only like 13x13x10 inch or something.
