Someone pointed out that pretty much any substance is flexible in typical glue line thickness.
As long as a glue has minimal creep and bonds the two surfaces permanently it is generally pretty good to go.
Pour a bunch of bowmaking glues out in a thin layer and try bending them to test for flexibility.
You'll see wildly different results.
There are a few other tropical wood epoxies out there.
Interestingly a lot of the basic epoxy components are apparently made by one company and then the specialty companies make their own stuff from those bases.
