The bow with all the whoops in it seem to have developed a little hinge and a small crack,wonder
if it can be repaired.The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat.For those that think after a lot of bows that you get to where you don't have trouble,think again.Dose this annoy me [YES] dose
it make me want to quit[ NO].

Interesting observation --- At the end of the day if it was easy and always worked it would no longer be a challenge or much fun.

Still I see no problem with that bow -- should be able barbeque some brats with it so not all is lost.

Also makes it easy to know when to start the next one.

I think it can still be salvaged into a good performing bow! Just cut that bad limb off and splice a new one in its place in the handle. Thin the new limb to match, and there you have it!

Marc I think you are right,after looking closer you could see it,it was a bad swirl there,I should have seen it in the beginning but missed it.Most of the time I will pick up on the run off but it is
pretty obvious I didn't on this one.All is good ,it ant like it is the first I ever broke and I am sure it
won't be the last.If we can all learn something from it,It will be worth it. :)Greg,Dick yall are right now all I need to do is break another one.

A little bubble gum, some duct tape, and a couple 3" drywall screws and it'll be good as new.......

I've made a few of those myself over the years. At that point I just start calling them an "atlatl stave" instead of a "bow stave".

I'd get that right limb bending a little more in the outer thirds.
