high end fence poasts (B P added)

Got hold of some of gun doc's secret stash he has had seasoning for the better part of a century  >:D there were some house guests we displaced, but i cant wait to shoot a piece of history ...just have to make it first ;)

The tiller looks a little stiff on the tips.  Take a bit more weight off there and you will reduce your handshock.  Other than that, they look great!!!   >:D

I'm working on a take down made from  a 50 -60 year old fence post as we speak...SOME GOOD WOOD IN THOSE OLE POSTS

Looking forward to seeing them split and see what is inside. Most of the time it is amazing what you find in them old post,and sometimes disappointment.Will Hope for the best. :) :) Either way it makes good fire wood /Knife handles/tip overlays and all sorts of other neat stuff. :)

Those are ants, very very angry ants, and a whole bunch of them...only got bit one time...and as to the size of the tips and rest its a new design ...go big or go home >:D  ;D the wood inside looks awsome, ill keep you all posted  ;D  ;D  ;D

looks about right for one of my bows dimensions, except loose the shelf, might be as tad light though ::) ;)

Last time I was down south in the land of yellow wood, I went out on dads ranch and cut a nice walking stick.  was working away on the top when I realized it was full of them ol fire ants. Didn't feel the stings very much at first ::) then I started finding out how far up the legs they had made it. :o >:(

If you have a stave that you suspect has grubs in it just place it on a fire ant bed and tomorrow you won't have grubs any more. When the grubs are gone the fire ants go back home.  ;)
