Cut A Little Wood...just a little..lol!!!!

I was invited by my good buddy Marty(oldtimberbows) to meet him out in Ohio to help him cut some yeller wood for a few days. His friend Scott also came down for the party to help. I left at Two O clock on weds. after work and was there a few hours later where they were already there and had a couple trees down. Over the next couple a days ( 3 days of sun up to sun down cutting) we managed to cut wood for a few bows. We had help with the use of a tractor,which speeded our progress tremendously. We had to clear and burn all the brush from the tops,so the tractor helped big time. We used it to haul all the brush and pick up a few logs and drop them on the trailer with chokes and chains. I got to notch and do pretty much all the felling,which was sweet. I was a madman with a chainsaw and went thru soooo much gas n chain oil. We also cut 3 hackberrys down,where you will see them in the pics. The sap is up and the bark peeled like a bannana. No pics of me cus you guys have seen enough of my sasquatch face lately..lol. Anyways there was lots of other good stories and good times to be told,but ill shut up and let the pics do the rest of the talking. Enjoy!!!!!

  I  think  there should  be  a  heart assn warning  on posts like this!  remember  there are  members  that  can't get Osage!!!!  and  yes  I  did grab my  chest when I  saw that post    good haul!!  good job!  now  a  supply of  Osage slats  for backed  bows  would be a nice option for trade Jeff W
