Yep--long time ago--Yellville at the Water Creek Knappin.  Can't remember who was the chief.  Maybe Wesley Shipman or DC Waldorf.  Was some of the most re known knappers of the time including the artistic Val Waldorf.  You can bet I won't forget the CEREMONY!  OOGA BOOGA forever!  A/Ho Joe

It is a very powerful feeling to join the society. In ten years of Chiefing around six knap in's a year I would guess I have brought in 800 to 1000 new folks. It never gets old. Even introduced my 93 year old Grandmother so we could share the secret. They drove her to the circle in a Lincoln so she wouldn't fall and break a leg in the darkness. Good times! Ooogabooooga!
