Thanks Pappy!
We'd love to have you sometime!
But if you can't come up here, we'll just have to go down there!
There's a few of us from Hawkeye planning  to attending the Classic again this year.
See you then!

Dino and Eric are running the Woodswalk again this year on Saturday. With those two guys, it should be a real challenge. Campfire Cooking Contest will be held Friday Evening.

Jon,
There is normally a few guys under the shelter working on bows. This Shoot is much smaller than the one in August. It is very laid back. We put out about 20 targets and we have a few informal contests. Primitive tent camping is available but the kitchen is not open for this shoot.
Gate opens on Friday around noon and the shoot closes at noon on Sunday.
Take care,
Brian

Looking forward to this shoot all year...wouldn’t miss it Kevin!

Thanks Brian...Eric and I have been brain-storming since the last Woods Walk...we are meeting up soon to finalize our plan!  This is our favorite shoot and cannot wait to set up camp and hang with the gang.  I hope you can follow through with the fire log challenge...looking forward in participating...if I heal up in time (I took a very bad fall this weekend, dislocating my collar bone and cracking a couple ribs :'().

Take care,
Dino

Jeff,
Thanks for the kind words about Hawkeye. The Primitive Shoot is much smaller than the large Traditional Shoot in the Summer. I do not want anyone to mistake this little affair for that one. This Shoot is a very simple low key Shoot with a couple of courses, some primitive only camp sites and no kitchen or entertainment etc. Just guys shooting selfbows, working on bows and hanging out.
Take care,
Brian
